When you have the worst president in US history, you get the biggest blue wave in US history. (OK, the biggest blue wave in 50 years. Apparently, the last biggest blue wave—in 1976—was after Nixon was impeached for Watergate.)
When I woke up the day after Election Day, I had twelve emails from The New York Times that exceeded my expectations.

This was DESPITE Trump’s gerrymandering. DESPITE Trump’s voter intimidation. DESPITE Trump’s attempts to seize voter rolls and disqualify ballots.
Now that the euphoria has passed, it’s time to take the gloves off.
Now I want to see laws passed to make sure this level of corruption and self-dealing never happens again.
If members of the Trump administration broke the law (as many of them surely have), I want to see them prosecuted.
And that includes Trump and his family and associates.
I wanted to see them in jail and their assets confiscated.
Trump made $2.2B by selling access to the White House? That money belongs to the American people!
ICE murdering American citizens? Not on my watch!
Deporting people without due process and flying them to countries they never set foot in? I don’t think so!
I want to see a “retribution campaign” that will make Trump’s look like a tea party, but with one important difference: we have the EVIDENCE of wrongdoing to back it up.
Not to “get even.” But to make sure this level of corruption never happens again.
And don’t tell me we should just “move on.” That’s how we got into this mess in the first place.
Remember Nixon? (No one under 50 can and that’s part of the problem.)
We can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can pass legislation (or at least try to—I’m sure Trump will veto everything) and conduct investigations.
A convicted felon can run for office? No more!
A president has complete immunity and can pardon anyone, including people who attacked the Capitol? Not on my watch!
“Norms and ethics” won’t cut it anymore.
